Within this document, you will find the process of adding a new bank account to a contact, this will allow you to process ACH payments. Please note that this can only be completed for those using Stripe as their processor.

After adding ACH as an allowed payment method within your account, please follow the steps below.

  1. Open the contact card or reservation that you would like to add the ACH banking information to. For this example, we will add it from within the reservation. Next select the contact information.

  2. This will open the contact information, here you will select Payment Methods.

  3. Now you will see the options to add the guests routing number, account number, account holder name and select the account holder type. The two account holder types are Individual and Company.

  4. Once you have completed all of the required boxes select Add ACH.

  5. This will then deposit a micro verification amount with a 6 digit descriptor into the guests bank account. You will need to enter this 6 digit descriptor into Staylist when it asks for a verification code.

  6. Once this is complete you will have the ACH bank account as an available payment method. Typically the deposited amount occurs very soon after selecting the option to add the ACH payment information, so being on the phone with the customer or having the ability to contact them quickly during this process is the best practice.

Note: ACH is not currently available as a payment method for auto-charge subscription payments.
