If you have a guest that you'd prefer to not be allowed to book in the future, for both online reservations as well as an alert if they call the park to book, you can add their contact to the blacklist.

Adding a guest to the blacklist will prevent the guest from booking online, based on the information entered. Staylist will check against the entered home address, email address, and phone number. If any of the entered information matches, the reservation will be prevented, and a message suggesting to call the park will display.

If a guest contacts the park directly and attempts to book either over the phone, or in person, when searching for their contact in the reservation quote process, there will be a warning icon and a red background for their contact.

We cannot prevent guests from falsifying information to bypass the blacklist functionality.

To add a contact to the blacklist for your park, follow the steps below:

  1. In the main Staylist Cogwheel menu, select Contacts in the lower section of the menu.

  2. In Contacts, use the search bar in the upper-right area to search for the guest either by name, phone number, or email address.

  3. After finding the contact, click on the Edit icon on the right side of the screen. You can also click on the Contact ID number on the left side.

  4. In the screen that pops up, all that needs to be done is to click on the checkbox to blacklist this guest.

  5. When complete, be sure to save!
