To send a text message to a guest within Staylist, please follow the steps below. The message will be sent to the contact's primary phone number.
Please note - This will only work if texting has been set up for use, as well as having messages available to send within your account.
Open the reservation that you need to send a message to, either by using the search bar to find the reservation via the Reservation ID or the guest's information (Name, phone number, etc.), or via the Availability Grid.
In the reservation overview screen, click on the Message guest button, just above the contact information box.
The following box will appear. Type the message that you'd like to send to the guest in the message box.
After clicking the Send button, the message will start the process of sending to the guest. As mentioned above, this message attempts to send to the contact's primary phone number.
Guests can reply STOP to any text message sent to them, and any future attempts to text that guest will fail.
