If you charge for electric usage for a reservation, you'll need to create a special type of charge to add to the reservations - an electric meter charge. You can attach an access/usage fee to these charges if you desire, as well.

To create an electric meter charge:

  1. From the main settings cogwheel, navigate to Reservations -> Charges.

  2. Click the β€œ+” icon to create a new charge.

  3. Enter a name for the charge and click "Save.”

  4. Enter a description for the charge.

  5. Attach the appropriate GL Code, if applicable.

  6. Select the default date in which you would like the charge to show.

  7. Attach the proper tax code, if applicable.

  8. If you charge a one time/processing fee, you can insert it into the One Time Fee box.

    1. Please keep in mind that this fee will attach to every electric meter charge, not just the first time it appears on the reservation.

  9. Per KW Rate is where you put the amount per KW that is charged.

  10. If you're happy with the settings for the charge, be sure to save!
