Reservation charges are what you would want to create if you are creating charges that may apply to reservations for specific reasons. In the example below, the charge would be applied if the guest requested a late check-out.

To create a reservation charge:

  1. Click on the Cogwheel, Hover over "Reservations," and select "Charges."

  2. Click the β€œ+” icon to create a new charge.

  3. Type a name for the charge and click "Save.”

  4. Enter a description of the charge.

  5. Attach the appropriate GL Code, if applicable.

  6. Attach the proper tax code, if applicable.

  7. Select the default date in which you would like the charge to show.

  8. Insert the Base Amount. You can also add a Weekly or Monthly amount if applicable.

  9. Choose whether you would like this charge to be included in discounts or not.

  10. Choose whether the charge should be nightly or one-time.

  11. Decide whether the charge should be optional or mandatory.

  12. If everything looks good, be sure to save!
