Within this document, you will find the process of setting up a new deposit policy.

  1. Hover over the Cogwheel, navigate to Reservations > Deposit Policies

  2. Located on the right side of this page, select the plus.

  3. It will now prompt you to add in a name for the policy. Select Save to move forward.

  4. To start you will want to make this policy Active by selecting the check box, if this is also your main deposit policy you will also want to select Default to ensure that there is always a deposit policy in place. Note you should only create one default deposit policy.

  5. Within this screen you will have the options to enter in the Type of payment. This includes a percentage of the total amount due, a flat amount, or a night amount. Enter in your deposit amount and or percentage under the Deposit Amount field. Note if you select a flat amount it will open two more fields for you to complete, this will be a weekly amount and a monthly amount.

  6. Here you can also select to charge the entire balance for one night stays, charge taxes, and include charges.

  7. Once you have filled out all of the desired fields select Save located at the bottom right of the edit screen.
