Using the Mass Rate Update tool is an efficient way to update a large number of rates, if you're using a standard amount, or if you're increasing the rates by a flat percentage.

To Use the Mass Rate Update Tool:

  1. In the Main Settings Cogwheel, navigate to Reservations -> Rate Codes.

  2. In the Rate Codes Section, click on the Mass Update button in the upper-right corner.

  3. The first step in the tool would be to define your date range for updates.

    1. Start Date: Specify the starting date for the range within which you intend to assign or modify rates.

    2. End Date: Indicate the end date to set the boundary for the rate assignment/modification.

  4. Next, you'll want to select which days of the week will receive these updates.

    1. All Days: Apply the rate changes to all days within the specified date range.

    2. Weekdays Only: Limit the rate adjustments to weekdays.

    3. Weekend Only: Focus the rate modifications exclusively on weekends.

  5. Select which Rate Codes you will be modifying.

    1. From the available list or dropdown, select the specific rate code(s) that you wish to assign or modify.

  6. After doing this, you'll need to define the Rate Adjustment Method.

    1. Percentage Increase: Opt for this if you want to apply a percentage increase to the selected rate code(s).

    2. Flat Increase: Choose this option to add a fixed amount to the existing rate value.

    3. New Flat Rate: Select this if you want to set an entirely new flat rate for the specified period.

  7. Enter in the amount that these rates will be adjusting.

    1. Depending on your chosen adjustment method, input the corresponding amount (percentage, flat rate increase, or new rate value) into the designated field.

  8. When everything looks good, Click update!

    1. IMPORTANT: Only click update once.

    2. Depending on the amount of rates that are being updated, this process may take a little bit of time to complete. If you click update more than once, there is a chance that the rate increase/replacement will apply multiple times, causing issues. If this occurs, please contact Staylist Support, with all of the rate codes that are affected, and the date ranges that are affected.
